PLA

Classic Filament

Polylactic Acid

Biodegradable thermoplastic derived from renewable resources such as corn starch, cassava, or sugarcane. It is synthesized through the polymerization of lactic acid monomers, resulting in a material that combines environmental sustainability with versatile processing capabilities.

PLA has similar strength and stiffness to polystyrene and PET, making it a good fit for rigid parts that don't need to handle heat or impact.

  • Wide color selection
  • Economical
  • Multiple surface finishes
  • Plant based
  • Food safe*

Aesthetic Options
Pastel colors, glitter additives for metallic or sparkle effects, UV and blacklight reactive.
Aesthetic Options
Pro and Max Strength
Exceptional ductility, delivering high impact resistance and long-term durability. PLA Pro strikes the ideal balance between rigidity and impact strength, combining the best traits of toughness and stiffness.
Pro and Max Strength
Light Weight
Great for drones and RC planes. Half the weight of regular PLA, LW-PLA has a density of 0.8g/cm³
Light Weight
Fiber Reinforced
Used to make rigid parts that are difficult to bend and break.
